One open fire
Everything passes through our oak-fired hearth, from morning sourdough to the last slow-roasted plate of the night.
Olive & Ember
Wood-fired kitchen · Harbour Street
A neighbourhood restaurant built around one oak-fired hearth. Breakfast from eight, long lunches, and dinners worth staying late for.
We are open today until 10pm.

What we do
Everything passes through our oak-fired hearth, from morning sourdough to the last slow-roasted plate of the night.
We cook with what twelve nearby farms are harvesting this week, so the menu changes with the weather.
A short, changing list of low-intervention wines by the glass, chosen to sit well next to smoke and char.
Our story
Olive & Ember started as a bakery with a wood oven and a handful of stools. Ten years on, the oven is still the heart of the kitchen, and most of our regulars still sit at the counter to watch it work.
We keep things small on purpose: forty seats, one menu, and a team that knows your name by the second visit.
“The kind of place you plan a whole evening around, then end up coming back for breakfast.”
